Willa Van Nostrand | Golden Spiral Performance: Abundance | 5:30 PM

Ticketed guests are welcome to join in the celebration of ABUNDANCE, an experiential performance and tasting featured in Willa’s Golden Spiral Performance at ICA Boston. Nectar of Abundance is spirit-free potable elixir was designed especially for Abundant Futures / Live and features: organic golden turmeric, orange blossom essence,  nasturtium, fresh pressed citrus and New England maple. Edible botanicals include zinnia, calendula and wild mint varieties. 

The handmade vessels were developed in collaboration with Eva Goodman (Inforescence Vessel) and Emilia Schonthal (Lattice Cups). The sacred sea basket was made by Natalie Squillante (Sacred Child I) at Arch Ceramics in Tiverton, Rhode Island. 

Iterations of this performance have been hosted by WaterFire Arts Center (Rhode Island), Efi Katanzi Contemporary Gallery (Athens, Greece), The Barn @ Eva Zasloff Studio (Massachusetts), Trustees Properties: Salad Days at Allan Haskell Gardens (New Bedford, MA), and Stamperia Del Notaio (Sicily, IT). The original work was developed alongside lighting designer and installation artist, Aaron Pexa (Milan, IT), for FaveLab (Greece) with the support of The National Archaeological Museum, Athens and Archaeological Museum of Delphi (Greece). 

Willa Van Nostrand is an artist, curator and designer. She directs World’s Fair Gallery and is known for her garden-to-glass work with Little Bitte.
